TV Series:

Thomas & Friends™ television series airs in more than 185 territories in more than 30 languages.
In the UK the new CGI series 15 airs on Channel 5's Milkshake! and series 14 airs on Nick Jr., and in the US Thomas & Friends airs on PBS KIDS® and Sprout®. To date 356 episodes and 15 television series of Thomas & Friends have been produced.

Production Info:

Ian McCue is the Producer of Thomas & Friends and Marion Edwards is the Executive Producer. Series 16 and special 16 are currently in production with Nitrogen Studios in Vancouver. To date there are 368 completed episodes.

Awards:

Thomas & Friends: The Great Discovery won the British Video Association's Best Marketing Initiative Children's Category. Thomas Make and Do book won a highly commended award in the Art & Craft category of the Right Start Best Toy Guide 2010. Thomas & Friends DVDs have secured six Parents' Choice Awards in the US. Thomas & Friends toys have also won Platinum honors from the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio in the US, and www.thomasandfriends.com has been recognized an honouree for best hompage design by the Webby Awards

Thomas & Friends Books is the No. 1 Preschool brand in UK*(Neilsen 2010 volume). In 2010 Thomas books sold 1 million units in UK. To date more than 200 million Thomas & Friends books have been sold worldwide since 1945. Egmont is the UK publisher.

There are two dedicated UK Thomas magazines which are the leading boys' preschool titles in the market. More than 50 million Thomas & Friends magazines have been sold worldwide since 1991, making it the longest running character-specific magazine in the world.

Live Events:

Over 1.5 million people currently enjoy 'Day Out With Thomas' events in the UK, US, The Netherlands, Denmark, Australia and New Zealand each year. In 2011 there will be 89 Day Out With Thomas events at 28 UK heritage railways, and the tour has 264 event days scheduled at 45 heritage railroads in North America. There are two dedicated Thomas. Lands in UK and in Japan. Thomas Skyline Adventure's will continue at Butlins throughout 2011.

To date, Thomas has entertained over 1 million children and families in over 800 live stage shows in 11 countries around the world.

Home Entertainment:

Over 100m DVDs and videos and have been sold globally and 7 Thomas & Friends DVD titles will be released in 2011 in the UK.

Consumer Products:

Thomas & Friends has been the number one preschool toy property in the UK for 11 years and in the US for 10 years. It also leads the way in countries including Germany, Australia, China and Korea. Fisher-Price holds the global master toy license and there are 69 different UK Licensees and 79 different US Licensees.

Digital:

The Thomas & Friends website has over 7 million page views per month in the UK, nearly 12 million page views per month in the US and over 500 million globally. There are 10 separate iPhone and iPad story apps and two game apps
